A little smile will do ya!
You know, Colton's world is a pretty cool place to be! Yesterday I had the luxury to take just Julianna to Six Flags (thanks Nana for watching the boys) and when I came home Colton was happily swinging in the outside swing. When I went to pick him up he smiled so big, made so many happy noises, and then arched his back to get out and come to me. That was the greatest greeting in the world. We have been so lucky with his teething. He now has two teeth, the bottom two, and it hasn't fazed him one bit. He drools a bit more, but not profusely, and is contanstantly gnawing on his fingers; other than that, you would never know he is teething. Julianna was the worst. I would put her in the car and drive for miles and miles in the hopes that she would go to sleep. She wouldn't... she would scream and scream. Yes, Colton's world is a much better place to be during teething:) lol. It's also pretty cool that he is beginning to sit up now. He can sit up in one spot for about 5 minutes. After that time he will either fall or is leaning so far forward his little belly hurts from the strain so he'll start to cry. We're putting toys in front of him and he's playing with them. Yeah!!! If only we could teach Ethan how to play a little more independently like Colton. Sometimes it feels like I've developed a growth on my leg where Ethan has attached himself :) Of course there will be a day when he won't want me near him and I'll long for that growth to manifest itself again. Let's just hope it's a long ways off.
