Hi, everyone! Seeing as Matt has been too busy to keep up his blog on "Colton's World," it seems Mommy needs to come to the rescue. What I will attempt to do is keep you updated on all the coolness that is Colton- the happenings of his world- while trying to keep my sanity with 3 very active kids. Colton has grown so much since his birth weight of 7 lbs 13 oz. He now weighs about 16 lbs and is about 25 inches long. He is soooo sweet. The most laid back baby I've ever seen. He is hardly fussy- only crying when tired or hungry- and mostly just laughs and smiles at everyone. He has found his voice, cooing and talking to us with the occasional screech to remind us he is there. He can roll over and can sit up for a couple of seconds. I'm hoping to figure out how to add video of him rolling over and sitting up.
Let me move on to the first bit of coolness that is Colton... Colton is getting his first tooth! That's right, the little bugger is getting a little biter :) Right now all that you can see is a tip of the tooth, but you can feel the sharpness with your finger. Pretty cool, huh :) Made me a little sad though. It seems to be the first step towards non-babydom. I mean, right now he relies on me to feed and nurture him. With a tooth comes food, real food, then walking, talking... next thing you know he's a 7 year old prima donna ... No, wait... that's his 7 year old sister Julianna (is she 7or 17? Somedays I'm really not sure). Nonetheless, it is pretty cool to be getting a first tooth, something to celebrate regardless of my tears.
